Born in Milan (Italy) on 27th March 1964, two daughters, Full Professor at the Polytechnic of Milan. She has over 25 years of experience in the engineering of transport and traffic, mostly in the public sector (Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport), as a consultant government before it is a research professor at the University focused on the development of new analytical applications, planning of roads and transport, analysis and interpretation of statistical data. Expert appointed between the ISPRA Scientific Committees (2006) (former APAT Italian National Agency for Environmental Protection and Technical Services, today ISPRAMBIENTE), it also works for the editorial board of scientific journals in 2001-2002 Mobility Manager Area Milano (32 administrative Boroughs like Metropolitan Area: principal subdivisions of the administrative area of Greater Milan (the 33rd is the City of Milan)), since in 2007-2008 Mobility Manager for the Province of Turin. Full Professor on the infrastructures and specialization courses or refresher courses for Regulation, analysis, traffic flow theory and modelling and assessing the impacts of roads and mobility systems, or impact assessment in the implementation of large-scale attractors traffic / generators. His most recent publications about its activities in the field of transport studies include: " Highway engineering", "road accidents", "Mobility in Urban Environment", "standards and citizen participation to reduce pollution; improve communication with European citizens ", etc.
She made urban traffic studies, assessment of the impact of projects on traffic, analysis of the demand for mobility and studies of the territorial situation in various Italian regions. She is a consultant for the Transport, Infrastructure Legislation, Traffic signals, Mobility-on-Demand Systems for public administrations of the different Italian regions.
